Our clients are concerned with a tax-efficient transition of wealth to the next generation, and this is what we do best. We provide skilled service in various financial areas, including investment solutions, estate and gift planning, financial planning, insurance planning, and tax planning and preparation. Through our proactive and comprehensive financial planning process, we address current and potential financial challenges a client may face. 

Our process includes the following: 

  • Conducting a baseline financial analysis as a kind of “annual physical exam” of the client’s financial health. 
  • Analyzing the risks and liabilities for current exposures and future hazards that can arise from improper or incomplete execution of financial plans or business dealings.  
  • Coordinating with the client’s other financial experts, similar to what a doctor might do when consulting with specialists in the care of a patient. 
  • Offering financial literacy and education to prepare the client’s heirs in the management of future wealth or company assets. 
  • Designing and conducting family retreats to assist clients in communicating and collaborating on their family values, mission, and goals across generations. 

By utilizing advanced and proven strategies that defer capital gains tax and reduce overall tax burdens, we assist our clients with passing on their wealth and legacy to their heirs in a way that stands the test of time.

The story of origin: Wealth Management Solutions was created in 2003, following the personal family tragedy felt by the founding partner of the firm. Richard Riva lost his father unexpectedly and before any legacy planning was done that could have extended his family’s legacy beyond the fourth generation. Our partners and team members all share similar experiences due to a lack of planning for their families and are committed to our clients not experiencing the loss of their legacies due to a lack of planning.
